DESCRIPTION

Ancient Strategies is a card game in which you are Generals of the Ancient Greek army, each one trying to come up with the best possible strategy that will lead to victory on the battlefield.

However, you only have limited resources available, so you need to think carefully about which units to use. Be the first to present the most powerful strategy 2 times and you will be named the Supreme Commander.

DESIGN

With Ancient Strategies, my goal was to mix "luck based gameplay" and "player choice" to create an unique experience which would reward skill and tactical decisions but was a little bit different on every playthrough.

The development of the game took about 4 weeks, and heavily relied on playtesting and iterating of the game's mechanics.

The art for the game has been designed and drawn using Photoshop.
